Melinda Sheckells joins Jenerate PR as Marketing Specialist. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing over-arching marketing strategies for the agency’s client partners while working closely with internal PR and social media divisions.
Melinda is an award-winning brand strategist and content producer with high-level expertise in project management, creative direction, digital marketing and brand storytelling. She has lived in Las Vegas for 13 years and has spearheaded brand marketing strategies and campaigns for clients such as Bikini.com, Bungalow Clothing, Entercom Radio, NV Energy, Life is Beautiful Music Festival, Cirque du Soleil, Perrier-Jouët and CG Sports Books, among many others.
In addition to being a brand visionary, she is an accomplished lifestyle journalist—specializing in travel, food and beverage, entertainment, fashion and health and beauty. Her editorial experience includes writing about Las Vegas for national and international publications such as American Airlines, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, People, Life & Style, Hospitality Design, Norwegian Airlines, Forbes Travel Guide, Mandarin Oriental magazine, the Los Angeles Times, and Waldorf Astoria magazine, to name a few. As a television correspondent, she frequently appears on Los Angeles’ KTLA morning news to talk about Las Vegas and she is a weekly contributor to KTNV Channel 13, discussing topics ranging from food to shopping.
